Hello fellow bloggers!
Life sometime full of surprises. The last surprise I got from Shannon and it was very pleasant one. She sent me a message that I’ve been nominated for a Blogger Recognition Award. Thank you Shannon! It is always a pleasure to read your blog “Adventures in Thirty Something”, which covers a variety of topics and often make me smile.
⦁ Thank the person who nominated you and give a link to their blog.
⦁ Display the award on your post and write about it.
⦁ Give a brief history on your blog itself.
⦁ Offer a piece of advice to new and upcoming bloggers.
⦁ Select 10 other bloggers you wish to nominate.
My husband and I started our blog in 2015. He took most of the pictures and he also does the editing. I became interested in writing when I attended English classes in college. Actually, it was my teacher of English Layla Palis, who discovered that I am creative. She always came in class with a twinkle in her eyes and gave the most interesting presentation of the writing techniques and English grammar. She also encouraged me to participate in ESL writing contest, in which I won the best personal award for my short essay about my native city Arkhangelsk. We also love to travel and writing about our traveling it’s like a savouring a double chocolate cake topped by the last nomination from Shannon.
I would like to share the advice from my English professor Andy Peevy. As a conclusion write an answer to the question: “What lesson did you learn?” You will be surprised with the ideas that come to your mind and learn a lot about yourself. My second advice is to write about your topic as soon as possible while the impressions are still vivid and vibrant in your memory. I will try to follow these advises myself.
